Volunteer with us

Here at Possum Valley, we value (and often rely) on the support and efforts of the kind volunteers who make up our community. There are a number of ways to volunteer with us. Check out the options below!

Regular Volunteering

If you are over 16 years of age, love animals and can commit to volunteering once a week or fortnight, this is the vollie group for you!

Tasks are varied, such as sweeping, raking, cleaning water troughs, washing and hanging sheets and towels, feeding animals, animal husbandry, fire hazard reduction and pruning, building and maintenance. All of these tasks are important for keeping our resident animals safe and happy!

Regular volunteering generally occurs on Saturdays, however some mid week volunteering is available for select tasks and our more experienced team members

We hold periodical information sessions for those interested in joining our team of regular volunteers, where you can get some training and/or discover if this kind of work is for you.

for details of forthcoming volunteer information sessions please visit either Trybookings or the events tab of our Facebook page.
